Newchild Gallery has announced the opening of Don't Get Lost in Heaven, a solo exhibition showcasing the latest body of work by artist Caleb Hahne Quintana.
The gallery will host an opening reception on Friday, October 16th, from 18:00 to 21:00, inviting art enthusiasts and visitors to preview the collection.
At the core of the exhibition is a series of intimate compositions executed on small copper supports, where light seems to originate from within the artwork itself rather than merely striking its surface.
Quintana masterfully layers glazes of umber, ochre, violet, and earthen red over the metal, allowing raw fragments of exposed copper to glint beneath the paint.
This technique creates an ethereal luminosity that hovers between physical material and visual representation, functioning much like memory by remaining subtly perceptible even when concealed.
The exhibition will run through November 19th, 2026. Newchild welcomes visitors during regular gallery hours from Wednesday through Saturday between 13:00 and 18:00, with private viewing appointments available from Sunday to Tuesday.
